Sending

Several sending mailboxes, each with a real name

We create sending mailboxes on your sending domain, up to 10 of them, each under a real name from your team. Spreading outreach across several senders keeps each one well inside safe daily volumes, and every store hears from a person rather than a department. It is part of how we send.

Why one mailbox is not enough

Mail providers watch how much each address sends. A single new address that suddenly sends a hundred emails a day to people it has never written to looks exactly like spam, because that is what spam looks like.

Several mailboxes on one domain share the work. Each sends a modest number a day, each builds its own history, and if one has a slow week the others carry on. This is the same reason the warmup works per mailbox rather than per domain.

What a store owner sees

The email arrives from a person: "Mia at Kōwhai Kombucha", on an address that reads like your brand. It is plain text, it ends with a signature, and if they type the domain into a browser they land on your website.

Use first names from your team, or your own. Owners reply to people. They rarely reply to "Sales" or "Team", and a generic name makes a careful email look like a mailing list.

How the sending is shared

  • One store, one mailbox. Each contact is given to one mailbox, and every follow-up to them comes from that same mailbox in the same thread.
  • The best contacts first. When a campaign starts, the contacts we are most confident in are scheduled first and spread evenly across the mailboxes.
  • A ceiling per mailbox. Each mailbox starts at 5 a day and builds up to 30. When one is full for the day, its emails are held over to a later day.
  • Replies come back to the sender. A store that answers Mia is answered from Mia, in the same thread, from your reply inbox.

How much a full set of mailboxes can send

With 10 mailboxes, the first week of sending days is about 50 emails a day across the domain. After the ramp each mailbox can send 30 a day, so about 300 a day in total. Over the first 20 sending days that adds up to roughly 2,500 emails.

For most brands that capacity is not the limit. The number of stores in your plan is.

The Free plan finds and emails 50 stores a month. Paid covers 500 a month.

Capacity also matters less than you might expect. A campaign to the right 150 cafés in one city will do more for you than 1,000 emails across a country. If you are not sure where to start, see who would stock you first.

A plain signature on every mailbox

Each mailbox carries a signature: the sender's name, your brand, a phone number and your website. Keep it plain. A logo image, a banner or a row of social icons turns a short personal note into something that looks like a newsletter, and it adds the images and links that push cold email towards junk.

A business address in the signature is a good habit, and it helps a store place you. A direct phone number helps more than you would think: some owners would rather ring than type.

Records, unsubscribes and bounces

Every mailbox sits behind the same SPF, DKIM, DMARC records, every cold email from any of them carries an unsubscribe link, and an address that bounces from one mailbox is blocked for all of them.

Questions brands ask

Why do I need several mailboxes?

So that no single address sends more than is safe, and so every email comes from a named person. Each mailbox warms up and has its own daily ceiling.

How many mailboxes do I get?

Up to 10 on your sending domain, set up for you.

Whose names should we use?

Real first names from your team, or your own. Owners reply to people, and someone on your side should recognise the name when a store asks for them.

Can I use my Gmail or Outlook instead?

You can connect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox, but we recommend the domain we set up, so your main address stays out of cold outreach.

Do replies go to several different inboxes?

No. Replies to every mailbox land in one LaunchPal inbox, matched to the store that wrote, and you answer from the mailbox that emailed them.
