Section 01

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to website owners.

LaunchPal uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience, maintain authentication sessions, and analyze platform performance.

Section 02

Types of cookies we use

2.1 Essential cookies

Necessary for the platform to function properly. They enable basic functions like authentication, page navigation, and access to secure areas. The platform cannot function without these.

  • Supabase session cookies: maintain your authentication session and login state (sb-*-auth-token).
  • OAuth state cookies: used during email integration with Gmail/Outlook for secure authentication flow.
  • Security cookies: prevent fraudulent use, CSRF protection, and secure session management.

2.2 Analytics cookies

These help us understand how users interact with our platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously. We use this data to improve our services and user experience.

  • Vercel Analytics: privacy-friendly analytics to monitor platform performance and usage patterns. No personal data collected.

Note: Vercel Analytics does not use cookies or collect personal data. It provides anonymized insights only.

2.3 Functional cookies

Enable enhanced functionality and personalization within the platform.

  • Theme preference: remembers your dark/light mode choice.
  • User preferences: stores dashboard customization and layout preferences.
  • Campaign drafts: saves your work-in-progress campaign data locally.

2.4 Marketing / Targeting cookies

We do NOT use marketing or advertising cookies. LaunchPal does not track users for advertising purposes or share data with advertising networks.

Your cookie choices

You have control over cookie usage. However, please note that essential cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.

Managing cookie preferences

You can manage cookies in the following ways:

  • Essential cookies: cannot be disabled as they are necessary for authentication and platform functionality.
  • Functional cookies: can be cleared from your browser settings, but will be recreated when you update preferences.
  • Analytics: Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. It provides anonymized insights only.

Browser settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings:

Heads up: blocking or deleting essential cookies (especially authentication cookies) will log you out and prevent you from using LaunchPal.

Section 06

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want your online activity tracked.

Since LaunchPal does not use tracking cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, DNT signals do not affect your experience. We only use essential cookies for authentication and functional cookies for user experience.

Section 07

Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.

We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
