Cin7 integration for food and drink brands
The Cin7 integration brings your Cin7 Core customers, products, orders and stock into LaunchPal, so you can see which stores are reordering and which have gone quiet.

What the Cin7 integration does
If you run your wholesale through Cin7 Core, it already knows who your stockists are and what they ordered. What it does not do is tell you that the deli in Ponsonby usually orders every five weeks and is now nine weeks out. That is the gap LaunchPal fills. It is one of several integrations, and it sits next to Xero and Stripe for the money side.
You connect once. From then on the sync runs by itself.
- Customers: your Cin7 customers come in as stores. Each one is linked to a single store in LaunchPal, so you do not get duplicates.
- Products: your range, by SKU.
- Orders: each sale with its lines, quantities and value.
- Stock: your stock on hand, added up across bins and batches, once a day.
How often it syncs
Customers, products and orders sync every hour. Each run only asks Cin7 for what changed since the last one, so a big account does not slow anything down. Stock is a daily snapshot. The reorder numbers below are worked out again every day from the orders that came in.
Reorder history for every stockist
For each store, LaunchPal works out how many orders it has placed, how many of those were reorders, the average number of days between orders, the days since its last order, and the total it has bought. From those it flags each store as low, medium or high risk of lapsing. A store sitting at its usual gap is fine. A store at twice its usual gap is the one to call this week.
Stores with a single order are measured against a 90-day horizon, because one order gives no rhythm to compare with.
Cin7 orders feed Flow
In Flow, every store is a card that moves from lead to sample to first order to reorder. Cin7 orders move those cards for you: a first order moves the store to First order, the next one to Reorder. Cards only move forward on a real order, and never backwards on their own.
Each store gets a reorder window from the usual gap between its orders. When a window passes with no order, check-in emails are drafted in your voice for you to approve, and they stop the moment an order lands or the store replies. If a store misses two windows, Flow asks whether to mark it discontinued. It never does that by itself.
What goes back into Cin7
The sync runs both ways, so you never type anything twice. Stores, products and orders you add in LaunchPal are sent to your Cin7. If Cin7 already has a customer with that name, we link to it instead of making a second one. Orders arrive in Cin7 as drafts, so nothing touches your stock until you authorise them there.
To connect, you create a key pair in Cin7 Core (an Account ID and an Application Key) and paste both into Settings, Integrations. We check them with Cin7 there and then, encrypt them, and never show them again.
Cin7 Omni
Cin7 Omni is on request. If you run Omni rather than Core, tell us from Settings, Integrations. Requests go to the team as a ticket, and we build in the order brands ask.
Want more stores in that reorder list? See who would stock you: we find independent stores that fit your product and show you the owner or buyer to email.
Questions brands ask
Does LaunchPal work with Cin7 Omni?
Cin7 Core works today. Cin7 Omni is on request, so tell us if you run it.
How often does the Cin7 integration sync?
Customers, products and orders every hour, stock once a day. The reorder numbers are recalculated daily.
Will it change anything in my Cin7?
Stores, products and orders you add in LaunchPal are sent to Cin7, so you do not enter them twice. A store that matches an existing Cin7 customer by name is linked, not duplicated. Orders go in as drafts and do not move stock until you authorise them in Cin7.
Does it show how fast my product sells in store?
No. Cin7 knows what you sold to the store, so the numbers are orders and reorders. How often a store reorders is the best signal you have, but it is not sell-through.
What do I need to connect Cin7?
An Account ID and an Application Key from your Cin7 Core settings. Paste both into Settings, Integrations and we check them with Cin7 straight away.
Do I need Cin7 to use LaunchPal?
No. You can add stores and orders by hand or import them from a CSV or a Google Sheets link. Cin7 just saves you the typing.
