- Claude and ChatGPT
Run your outreach from your AI assistant
If you already think out loud in Claude or ChatGPT, connect that AI assistant to your account and brief campaigns, check replies and ask about your stores without opening another tab.

Why connect it
A lot of founders already use Claude or ChatGPT for the brand: product copy, pricing maths, the pitch. The assistant knows how you talk about your product. Connecting it means that knowledge goes straight into a campaign brief, and you can ask "who replied this week?" from the same chat. It is one of our integrations, next to Cin7 for orders and Xero for invoices.
It also suits the way founders work. You are in the car between store visits, or answering emails at night, and a question like "did the Ponsonby deli ever reply?" is quicker to type into a chat you already have open than to find in a dashboard. The answer comes from your live campaigns and stores, not from what the assistant guesses.
What it can do
You choose what to allow on the approval screen when you connect, and you can disconnect from Settings, Integrations at any time.
- See your campaigns and replies. Always included, and read-only. Ask how a campaign is doing, who replied, and which replies are interested.
- Ask about your stores. Which stores are due a reorder, who has a sample with them, who has not paid.
- Create draft campaigns. Describe the stores you want and the offer, and the draft arrives in LaunchPal. Nothing is sent.
- Start a campaign sending. Only if you allow it. The assistant has to name the campaign exactly before it starts, because this sends real emails to real businesses.
Things founders ask it
You talk to it the way you would talk to someone who runs your wholesale. A few examples:
- "Draft a campaign to independent delis in Melbourne for our new hot sauce. We offer a free first case."
- "How is the Auckland cafés campaign going? Who replied, and who is interested?"
- "Which stores have had a sample for more than a week and not answered?"
- "Which stockists are late on their reorder this month?"
- "Start the Wellington bottle shops campaign." It will check it has the right campaign by name before anything sends.
Connecting Claude
From Settings, Integrations, choose Claude. Claude opens with LaunchPal already filled in. Confirm it, then approve on the LaunchPal screen that follows. It works on any Claude plan.
Connecting ChatGPT
ChatGPT needs a paid plan, because custom connections are not on the free tier. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin has to allow them first.
- Copy the addressIn Settings, Integrations, choose ChatGPT and copy the address shown.
- Add it in ChatGPTIn ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on Developer mode. Back in Connectors, choose Create and paste the address.
- ApproveApprove on the LaunchPal screen that appears, and pick what the assistant may do.
What it does not do
It does not reply to stores for you. When a buyer answers, the reply lands in your inbox and you take it from there, because the conversation that turns a reply into an order is yours. Follow-ups stop on their own the moment someone replies.
It cannot change your plan or billing, and it cannot quietly start sending. Every send needs the campaign named, and only if you allowed sending when you connected.
Start with the stores
An assistant is only as useful as the list it works from. See who would stock you to find independent stores that fit your product, with the owner or buyer to email, then brief the campaign wherever you like.
Questions brands ask
Does the AI reply to stores for me?
No. Replies land in your inbox and you take it from there. Follow-ups stop on their own when a store replies.
Which AI assistants can I connect?
Claude, on any plan, and ChatGPT, on a paid plan.
Can the assistant send emails without me knowing?
Only if you allowed sending when you connected, and even then it has to name the campaign exactly before it starts. Drafts never send.
Do I need Claude or ChatGPT to use LaunchPal?
No. LaunchPal has its own assistant that sets up campaigns in chat and drafts your next steps.
How do I disconnect it?
From Settings, Integrations, at any time. The assistant loses access straight away.
